Adult Children of Engineers is a place where you can share stories of growing up in an engineering or
otherwise science-y household. Not everyone who contributes is literally an ACoE, but I've noticed over the years
the stories sound a similar tone. Were you taught as a child (for instance) how to fold a newspaper for optimal
reading in tight quarters like the subway? Did you know more (a lot more) than your friends about esoteric subjects
like the inner workings of color television or how to splice cable? Do certain smells or visual patterns bring back
vivid memories of your engineer's lair (basement, perhaps)?
If so, you too may be the Adult Child of an Engineer. Join us!
